Carole is the author of Fabulous Fakes: A Passion for Vintage Costume Jewelry and co-author, with Eve Townsend, of Schreiner: Masters of Twentieth-Century Costume Jewelry. She has lectured on vintage costume jewelry at the Royal Ontario Museum, and her collecting advice has appeared in The Globe and Mail. Pieces from her collection are held by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and have been worn by Michelle Obama and Sarah Jessica Parker and seen on screen in Chicago, HBO's Grey Gardens and Sex and the City 2.
